Workshop 1: Trust as the Foundation: Building Stronger Teams Through Shared Experience (3.5 hours, $100)

Teams don’t break down because people don’t care.

They struggle because trust erodes under pressure, miscommunication grows, and assumptions go unspoken.

This workshop helps teams slow down, experience how they actually work together, and rebuild trust as the foundation for collaboration.

Who This Is For

This workshop is designed for pre-existing teams and works best with 8–15 participants.

  • Nonprofit organizations

  • Schools or departments of educators

  • Youth programs or community organizations

  • Mission-driven teams who want to work better together

It is especially helpful for teams that:

  • Feel disconnected or siloed

  • Struggle with communication or follow-through

  • Want to strengthen relationships without forced “team bonding”

What This Workshop Does

Rather than relying on lectures or personality labels, this workshop uses guided, experiential activities that allow teams to see themselves at work.

Participants will:

  • Experience how trust shows up (or breaks down) under pressure

  • Reflect on real team dynamics in a safe, structured way

  • Develop shared language around trust and collaboration

  • Identify concrete actions to strengthen trust moving forward

The focus is not on blame or fixing people — it’s on awareness, responsibility, and shared commitment.

What Participants Will Walk Away With

By the end of the workshop, teams will:

  • Have a clearer understanding of what trust actually looks like in daily behavior

  • Recognize patterns that help or hinder their effectiveness

  • Better appreciate differences in communication and problem-solving styles

  • Commit to 2–3 practical steps to build trust within their team

Workshop Format

  • Length: Half-day (approximately 3.5 hours)

  • Format: In-person, highly interactive

  • Structure:

    • Guided team challenges

    • Facilitated reflection and group discussion

    • Individual and collective commitments

This workshop is facilitated to meet teams where they are — no prior training or preparation required.

  • Trust and psychological safety
